As a performer Jesper Nordin is playing both laptop using his own Max/MSP patches as well as on his own invention Gestrument. He has two ensembles that mix composed and improvised music – Trio Trespassing (together with violinist Daniel Frankel and percussionist Niklas Brommare) and the duo Lindwall/Nordin together with organist Hampus Lindwall.
The video above is from a jam session together with Tomas Haake and Dick Lövgren from the metal band Meshuggah, recorded at the Stockholm Concert Hall during a portrait festival devoted to the music of Jesper Nordin.
